Charlotte + Matt//April Wedding//East Quay Venue
I was so happy when Charlotte + Matt booked me to take their wedding photos, not just because I absolutely love the East Quay Venue, but I really liked them as a couple and knew their day would be excellent.
When I arrived at the Fishermans Loft in Whitstable, Charlotte was super relaxed styling her hair before Lydia took over to do make and before family showed up to help with the finishing touches of getting ready.
I loved all of the styling and colours throughout, with purple & blue Spring flowers in the bouquet to compliment Matt’s blue suit.
As expected the day was very relaxed, with immediate family only to witness the Ceremony and a few group photos taken with them upstairs straight after. They wanted all of the formal side done before being joined by a mass of friends and extended family, who had been invited to join them immediately after, waiting patiently with confetti in hand and positioned in a tunnel to greet them as they walked down the stairs.
The Redfords played throughout the reception with plenty of oysters, drinks and canapés to keep the guests occupied as they chatted inside.
The weather was so cold and windy but we did brave it outside for some photos (always a must on the beach!) before settling back indoors for the night, where the room was filled with glow sticks, live music and a shed load of fun!
Always a pleasure working with such fabulous suppliers: East Quay Venue, Lydia Rae: Make Up, Jane@ Graham Greener: Flowers, The Redfords: Music, Cheryl Challinger (friend): Cake, @beach_and_meadow: Oyster Place Names, Papier: Table sign.
