Bodium Castle Wedding – Summer Twilight Wedding
I first met Hannah & Kristian along with family at a wedding fair in Canterbury and had everything crossed that they would ask me to photograph their day.
The idea of a twilight wedding Ceremony at Bodium Castle, followed by a DIY reception at the campsite just up the road sounded awesome!
Shooting at Bodium Castle was a first for me and loved that Hannah had always vowed to get married there, since camping there as a little girl.
There was much to love about this day, from Hannah’s Dad representing his Scottinsh heritage in his kilt, to the amazing tipi reception, dedicated to their love of camping..
Kristian’s DIY skills were incredible, building an actual rustic bar out of pallets. He also took on the huge task of setting up a bridal bell tent, fully kitted out with log burner, double bed, rose petals, rugs and many other decorations as a surprise for Hannah..
He also put up an entire ring of smaller tents for guests to sleep in, bringing a spare bed from home for his grandad!
It was such a pleasure to be apart of this wedding magical wedding. A real joy, full of love, family, vegan food (which was delicious!) and lotsbof fun x
