East Quay Venue | Kelly & Richard

I first met Kelly & Richard at a wedding fair at the East Quay and was very excited when they asked me to photograph their day!  Not only did I feel very comfortable around them but knew that I would love their wedding too!

The day started off with Kelly at the Anderson fisherman’s hut right on the beach in Whitstable and couldn’t have asked for a lovelier setting to photograph all of the morning activities – bright airy decor with plenty of space for bridesmaids, mum’s, and nan’s to get ready!

Meeting Richard at the Venue, the nerves had started to kick in and was a little emotional as Kelly walked down the aisle, forcing many guests to reach for their tissues!

The whole day was so relaxed and full of fun and laughter throughout – even whilst braving the super blustery and chilly winds during their photos.  We may have had to hold onto hats and clamp down the veil, but all made for some beautiful shots!
