Hayne House Venue – Spring Wedding
Kerry & Dan

Hayne House Wedding//Kerry + Dan

Kerry & Dan’s beautiful Spring wedding was styled to perfection!
From Kerry’s stunning lace wedding dress, to the gorgeous classic car that Dan arrived in.  Which had previously been owned by his grandad.

Here’s how they thought their amazing day went.

Why did you chose your venue?
We chose Hayne house as the orangery is stunning along with the gardens. Every photo taken looked beautiful. The orangery has a light airy feel to it giving it a blank canvas to work with anyone’s theme. The staff are also amazing and will help achieve your dream day going above and beyond. They made us feel very welcome and made us feel like royalty.

What was your wedding theme/style & why?
We chose to have a rustic theme with lavender. The lavender smells great and gave the rustic look a pop of colour. We looked at many different themes but the rustic one was the one we went back to, because it was classy and elegant and such a simple look to achieve.

Did you make anything for the wedding?
I made the rustic jars for the tea lights. They were so easy to make and didn’t eat into our budget, so we could afford other nice finishing touches.
My mum and some family and friends made the flower arrangements in the milk churns.  My dad and I made the table plan, welcome board and easel.

What were your most memorable highlights?
Our parents walking in to their own music which we chose for them. As we didn’t do a receiving line we decided to introduce our parents to everybody with a slight twist. It was also a lot quick than greeting 100+ people. The DJ battle was also such good fun.
The best part of the day was having all of our loved ones with us including all the children. Our photographer also did an amazing job to capture all our memories from start to finish. I simply love re-living our day. The food was also amazingly tasty (especially the steak pie and honeycomb cheese cake!)

Did you have any entertainment?
Harry Kilb was with us all day. So happy we made the decision to have him as the master of ceremonies as he kept our guest entertained though out the whole day. Everybody had such a laugh playing several games.

What was your first dance and why?
James Morrison- One life. (the first concert we saw together),  Dan and I have always loved his music especially because of the lyrics in this particular song.

How would you sum up your day?
The perfect day and made some fantastic memories which will last a life time with all of our loved ones.

Would you like to add anything?
We loved having you taking our pictures from start to finish so we have memories of the whole day. You made us feel comfortable being photographed and just let us enjoy our day without taking us away from our guests. Would definitely recommend you, your photos are certainly treasured by us.  Absolutely adore them
