How did you incorporate your colour scheme into your wedding?

Our bridesmaid dresses were a light pastel grey, our flowers were all light pastel colours with pinks and natural greens, we had an amazing flower wall backdrop which matched the rest of the flowers and any little decorations I made matched in colour with hessian and lace added.

What did you enjoy most about organising your wedding?

Wedding dress shopping! The only time you can justify spending that much money on a dress!

What did you find the most difficult thing to sort out?

Bridesmaid dresses were hard, it took a while to find something that would suit all 4 bridesmaids in the colour we wanted.  In the end we found them from Quiz Clothing and all our bridesmaids loved them.

Were any of your suppliers particularly helpful?

I knew exactly what I wanted our flowers to look like and our Florist Laura exceeded my expectations and did such a beautiful job!  They could not have been any more perfect.  Our Photographer was also perfect and captured every part of the day so beautifully.  

What was the best bit of advice you received when planning your big day?

To make sure we took some time to ourselves in the afternoon/evening before evening guests arrived to take the day in and have just the two of us for a while. Our photographer was a huge help with this by taking us away for some photos early evening and this was when we got some of our favourite photos from the day.

If you could go back and do it all again, is there anything you would change?

Not a thing 🙂
